Completed 8 Years in B'lore

Hello All,

Yes.. as the title says... i completed my 8 years on 22nd Dec 2008 in B'lore last year. Wow!!!... its quite a feeling when i look down after my professional course in Bagalkot.

Few things would like to recall..... to be frank... never knew what was kept in future after completion of my B.E.... till now... we use to get our stifend (or Monthly EMI's from my Parents) when i was studying engineering. Few of my frenz have already got into job's thru... campus & were sitting pretty high... With some inputs frm my friends, Seniors and well wishers... decided to join "UTTARA" course for C n UNIX. Beleive me, no other institute made such a noise as this one. This was the talk of the town for any Engineer/MCA/BCA any graduate coming out from college nutshell.... there were few others like IGI Global, STG, APTECH. I think, most of my frens including me joined either IGI or UTTARA....

I came to B'lore the very next day.... after Hrithik Roshan's marriage. Some one in Bus pointed the way where the marriage was conducted. As many others, i too tried to peek thinking where the marriage was conducted. As bus moved on, slowly my destination was nearing. B'lore was any other big city to me. Didn't slept well coz.. of fear that i may pass the stop were i was suppose to get down. Anyhow, i had a talk to my Best Fren Chik's who said he will be there by the time i get down to my destination i.e. Navrang Theature. Bus came bit late & i was told that they were waiting for me since morning 6 a.m. Those days, Mobile phone was still far from reach frm any ones hands... Incoming calls were charged

Finally... i got to see my frens Chik's n Channappa... they were there to greet me :P then they took me to Channu's bro's house since our House was not fully done. After going through the initial cores, we all went to check our house. Channapa n Chik's were roaming around the streets as if they were from B'lore itself and they knew every nook n corner... i was very surprised... for me... i use to check into every cross.. check for land marks... road name... bla bla.... it was too much for me to take... simply followed the two of them. Our house Owner... Mr. Vishwanath.... (till now, we all new him very well) was their explaning that the house is ready n we can move in another day or so.... Our 4th partner was Santosh Math. Our 5th partner was Sachin Dammanghi alias Harry Singh. I still remember before he joined us as our room partner when myself n channappa took him in Auto Rickshaw, he said he knows cooking n he also knows how to make Gobi Manchurian. Beleive me, till now, its a pending one. Sachya... you owe us 1 plate of Gobi Manchurian to all of us. Santya has already been going to Aptech. Got to meet him in afternoon when we all had lunch in Kapil Sagar near ESI hospital.

Myself n Chikkamath have rolled into Uttara. We went to the office, got our formalities done and moved back to Channapa's house. Ohh... in all of these things.... i got to forget one thing. Chikkamath as forgot his Shoes to take from the bus thats our very own VRL. We went in search of his shoes.. ohh god beleive me.... i dont know where all did we go... but finally we went to Chamrajpet where they again told us to go to Mysore road since all the buses will go there only. I think, we decided to give it up. This was my first day in B'lore after i finished my B.E.

There are lots if things to write... like before we got the Gas... we use to have Set Dosa all the 3 times... First time food cooked by Our roomy Santosh. I still remember.. it was famous avalakki.... We also had Vijay patted to share it with us.

Celebrated New year 2001... that day i met most of my college mates... we roamed around M.G Road, Brigade Road, Residency road..... n finally came back to our house.... We had a very good neighbors... again a set of bachelors.... had a very good time... Santya... i dont need to remind you what you've done that night :D

Am getting more of nostalgic while penning down all the things.... those were one of the best days of life.... Now, most of us are in B'lore/Pune/HYd/U.K/U.S/Germany.... settled (read as married). Its true.. life moves on, rolls on.... like some one said.."life is roller coaster"... it never stops....
