It was one more day where one of fren got married over the last weekend. This time it was Arvind T M who was welcomed to the blissful married life.
Couple of frens including me boarded the train from b'lore and dear fren Chik's from pune. It was quite a long time to catch few frens especially Shetty and Pramod. Marriages in my world have become quite a re-union where we meet and restore/recreate the old magic.
As usual, Chik's was the first one to visit the place (Raichur) followed by the b'lore team (Santosh, Pramod, Sachin, Pawan, Shetty & myself). Had a very good time during the train journey, pulling each other's leg, Pawanya & Santya at their usual best. It seem Pramod was very busy in letting know our future. We reached raichur by 8.30 morning, an hour late. By the time we got ourself ready, it was 10.00 a.m as we reached the Mantap where everyone was hungry for the morning breakfast. As usual, the trademark or the speciality what would i say of N-Karnataka, we're served by Uppittu (upma) & Shira with some very thick Curd.
Then it was time to meet the Groom who was sitting with his lovely wife. Had a small chat where he introduced us to his wife before the big reception. TM took some of his precious time to sit with us and have a chat.
Not sure, who's idea was it, but everyone tout of having couple of beers after marriage. After wishing the couple followed by lunch, we headed for a place to have a talk. Dont want to press on the exact name. What more you need to let your inhibitions go for a while with Beers/Breezers. I think everyone was in need of it since the weather was also too hot when compared to b'lore conditions.
Couple of hours later, it was chik's time to catch his train back to Pune followed by us. Everything was fine till 9.00 p.m when it was observed that one of the UB as no screws and it was easily sleeping away. We've to wait till for the Guntkal Junction where we've to literally pursue the TC to have a look into the seat. Anyhow, i think we're lucky and the issue was resolved very soon. After a long day and a waited night to sleep, everyone was asleep till we reached B'lore.
Once again, thanks to all those olden days where i got to meet you all. Lets meet often not in the disguise of marriage.
P.S: We all were very sorry to see the rain that caused havoc to the Northern Karnataka especially Raichur. But people are slowing moving to their usual habits with their spirits.
