Trip to White Mountains

Its as been few yrs.. i been to a trek. Since, i was nearing end of my U.S trip, so decided to go for a trek smething which is moderate. Didn't wanted to test my limbs n ligaments... just to have a glimpse of U.S nature during its fall season. After a round of research and where n when to leave.... along with my Co-Worker Anitha, decided to go to White Mountain, Champney Falls Waterfall. Till the day sat morning... we didnt knew whether we'll make it since it as been raining the previous day continously n even the weather was also not in our side.... Anywaz.. took a chance...fill the car with Gas... n started off to White mountains.... to be frank, i didn't had any expectations.... abt how this trek will be... but didnt wanted to sit in Hotel.... It was 130 miles away from our Hotel. Intial, 60 miles drive was pretty good and we did covered the distance very fast. But, after this, we've to take the Route 16 which is a two lane road till our destination. (I just didn't beleived how in the great U.S of America) they have just a two lane road.... Road was pretty good.. but we cant cross limit more than 50 miles/hr which in my book.. i just cant do it.. anyhow.. it was worth a drive..

When we entered the region, we can see the Fall season effect more compared to were am been staying thats in Westford.... it was two good.... Anitha, see just went on clicking pics on n on on..... it never stopped..

We reached there ard 1.15 p.m... had afternoon lunch in Pizza hut... as good as it can get....

Some how, we lost the track to the trail, anyhow... we're able to find the information center where the guys gave us the exact way.. distance to the destin.... n all other stuff.... it is 10 miles away from the Conway city on Rt 112 kanmacagus Hy... it was too good.... the whole road is adjacent to the b'ful Sico River which flows from the top of the White mountains..... never ever i saw such beatiful picturesque scenes in my whole life.... with all the colors on both the sides... After 5 miles, we took a break where it was written as Scenice view... got down there... had few pics... Water was chilling killing cold... didn't dared to get into it...

Another 5 miles, we got to the White Mountain, Champney Falls Waterfall trail starting point. Its a good trail... by the time we reached there.. it was ard 3.30 p.m... with no more further waiting... we started our trek which is 1.6 miles... n capturing b'ful views with my camera... At times, trek does becomes bit tough.. but i can say it can be easily done.. it took us ard 1 hr to reach the falls.... there were less ppl.. on the trail.. we hardly saw two couples.. coming back while we're on our onward trail.... but it was good... may be we're bit late by that time...

the feeling when i reached over there.... was entitrely different what i had when i started from my hotel in the beginning... dont have the words to explain...

anywaz... return rek journey was pretty fast.. as it was downwards almost most of the times...

by the time we reached back to our Car, it was evening 5.00 p.m.. and headed back to our Lodge directly... with no stop in b/n... direct from White Mountain, Champney Falls Waterfall back to Westford... Residence Inn....

i had to bare with the pain... early next morning... but still was in the fascinating nature of White mountains...
